How the Antichrist Will Hypnotize the World With Fear
Luk 21:25-28 NASB “There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, (26) men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. (27) “Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with power and great glory. (28) “But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
There have been numerous signs in the sun, moon and stars recently like the Four Blood Moons of 2014-2015. There are ongoing solar and lunar eclipses on Jewish events and feast days. There was an interesting aligning of the planets in 2017 that some called the Great Sign because it seemed to fulfill a prophecy in Revelation 12 – but it really didn’t. It was still interesting none-the-less. Then the Bible tells us what happens during this time, “on earth dismay among nations.”
The word “dismay” means anxiety, anguish or distress according to Strong’s Concordance. There is a phrase being passed around these days that starts to explain how the antichrist will take the world for himself. It has to do with people that are already in a weakened mental state due to their own anxieties, insecurities and rejections, then add an event like a pandemic to their lives and you have the makings of a victim for Mass Formation Psychosis. Now, I’m no psychologist but I’ve heard what they are saying this is and it sounds exactly like how the world will be hypnotized by the antichrist into doing anything he wants using their fears against them. People will do anything when they are afraid, including betray family, take a Mark of the Beast, and even kill others when they would have no rational reason to do so.
The fear that is coming to grip this planet will be so powerful it will feel like you can reach out and touch it. The world will not only give up their freedoms and rights to the antichrist’s world government, they will beg to just so they can feel safe from what is coming. And what is coming? God’s judgment.
Mass Formation Psychosis is essentially the hypnotism of large groups of people who become fixated on something until they become irrational slaves of another person. That’s what we saw with the pandemic – people losing their minds over a sickness that kills less than 0.1% of people. The people that it killed usually had multiple comorbidities.
We can also look back at history and think of the Germany people, when so many got on board with the Nazi agenda, and wonder, “What were they thinking!” But the common denominator was fear. Germans were afraid of losing everything because of the hardships put upon them from World War I.
Well, what is coming will make COVID-19 and the Nazis look like a skip in the park on a nice spring day. The Bible prophesies that an asteroid called Wormwood is coming to strike the earth (Rev. 8:7-11) and it will kill 1/3 of humanity by the time the dust settles (Rev. 9:18). NASA and other space agencies can see asteroids coming years in advance. So, even though they have not done so, one day they will announce they see the Wormwood asteroid. It will become a time to hunker down in bunkers or evacuate, depending on where you are in the world. But want I want us to consider is the amount of fear that will happen at this time.
It will be no wonder, seeing how humanity reacts historically to fear, how the antichrist will have the world eating out of his hand. The leaders of the world will be begging for a solution to the asteroid strike and this man will promise he can deliver us. His solution is to unite the world into a world-government to combat the global threat. That’s why we hear so much coming out of the World Economic Forum about a Great Reset. The world needs to be reset to unite properly for a catastrophic threat, according to them. And of course, they are the beneficiaries of this massive powershift from the people to the world government.
Christians aren’t going to go along with the world government. This is where the world will be hypnotized, Mass Formation Psychosis, into turning on God’s people and slaughtering us – for the “greater good.” To resist the world government, you see, is to resist saving the world – which makes you a murder of billions (at least that’s the logic in their mind). This thinking is incredibly irrational but that’s what fear does; that’s what the Bible prophesies will happen.
Dan 12:1-2 NASB “Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. (2) “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.
Before the asteroid, Christians will be martyred by the thousands or even millions. Then the asteroid will shorten the days – otherwise no flesh would be saved (Matt. 24:22). Then, after the “time of distress,” comes Jesus! Our Lord and our savior, once again, from the wrath of God to come by rapture and resurrection. Look up for our redemption draws near! Hold fast to your faith until the end and you will be rewarded.
